We hear sounds constantly. Whether they are comfortable or uncomfortable, we used to spend time enjoying the sounds of nature. Back in Japan, there was a culture in which people went out to listen to the crickets under the moonlight. However, modern culture attached a high value to the visual culture, pushing the sounds culture to its corner. My final project reconsiders the meaning of sounds in the daily life. The project allows the audience to re-recognize the existence and meaning of sounds through synesthetic visuals which enhance the experience of sounds. By this process of hearing and seeing, you may rediscover the value of the sound.
