I have been working on historical anatomical plates, delighted in bringing to light small unknown masterpieces of imagination and precision.

By taking them outside the rooms of the private collections and the international auction circuit, I want to investigate the boundaries of identity between science and bureaucracy, telling the stories of forgotten individuals.

I cut them, paint them with ink and pencils and then rearrange them so as to compose my Imaginary Herbaria – because the families of the Vegetable Kingdom tend to be lenient when it comes to gender and migration.
