“I've recently been inspired by Malcolm Liepke, Agnes Grochulska and, Henrik Aa. Uldalen. I enjoy Liepke's simplification of anatomical structures into readable forms. I enjoy Grochulska's brushwork, and her use of the impasto technique to add a current to the face. Her brush strokes lead you around and establish gestures for each plain of the face. Uldalen is excellent at conveying the impression of a face in the least brushstrokes possible.”
