This painting is part of my Home is Where the House Is series. These are paintings of simple, ­ordinary houses, from a ­variety of locations in the US and Mexico. Rather, they are import for the lives lived within them, of which we see very little. They are, in a sense, the places we all grew up in, places of nurture, ­experience, trial, memory and forgiveness.​
