Built in 1785, the Faktorenhaus was a prestigious residential and commercial building with a half-timbered structure. In 2019, the architecture office Atelier ST began the conversion of the house which is listed as an important cultural monument. The overriding goal of the conversion project was to preserve the original appearance of the house and at the same time to update it with a design that is adapted to the new uses.
